All donations will be transmitted to Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service in support of the people of Ukraine. LIRS has a 100% rating from Charity Navigator and is the Susquehanna University Chapelโ€™s official Ukraine relief charity. Learn more or give now at lirs.org.

*Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, French horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Tuba, Harp, Percussion, Violin, Viola, Cello, and Bass players are welcome! Percussionists do not need to bring instruments. Space is limited; register today!

**Masks are required. SUSO will continue to follow University policy as it evolves.

4:30 PM

Stretansky Hall is open for early arrival. Youโ€™re invited! Feel free to drop your instrument off, find your seat, and warm-up.

5:00 PM

The SU Symphony Orchestra will conduct a brief touch-up rehearsal on the other music on the concert.

5:30 PM

Everyone who wants to participate should be in Stretanksy with their instrument and music no later than 5:30 PM, dressed in all black, seated or waiting to be seated by an orchestra staff member. Warm-up on stage.

5:40 PM

6:40 PM

Break - rest! You are welcome to sit in Heilman Hall, take a seat in Stretansky for the concert, or take a brief stroll around our beautiful campus.

7:15 PM

SUSO Strings called to stage. SUSO Winds backstage in HRH.

7:30 PM

SUSO Concert begins. Community members are encouraged to attend and enjoy. You may sit with your instrument in the audience.

8:10 PM

All community members should come to the stage with their instrument and music. On-stage warm-up and tuning.

8:15 PM

Join us on stage for a performance to support Ukrainian refugees.

OPTION 1: All Black

  • Dress shoes, pants or long skirt, long sleeve or 3/4 sleeve shirt or blouse,

OPTION 2: โ€œPeace and Freedomโ€

  • Same as above, but feel free to mix in a little blue, yellow, or gold into the mix. Make sure the outfit is still at least 50% black. No prints, designs, or logos. Solid colors only.

Participants are encouraged but not required to register in advance. Participant names will not be included in the program. A commemorative program including all registered participants will be distributed. 1-2 weeks after the performance.
